According the Java website it runs on Windows 2008 Server, Windows 7, Windows 8, Windows XP, Windows Server 2012, Windows Vista, Windows 10.

most JREs should run under Win11.
Besides Oracle (with a rather restrictive license), there are several other distributions, e.g.
